Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Gollar.

1. Basics: About Gollar

What is GOLLAR (GOL)?
GOLLAR is a digital voucher pegged to real-world gold. Each 1 GOL corresponds to a reserve record of 1 gram of physical gold, used for deduction, redemption, storage, or value circulation within the system.
Is GOL a stablecoin?
No. GOL belongs to the Real-World Asset (RWA) category as a "physical gold voucher". Its purpose is to provide digital gold redemption and account vouchers, not for price stabilization or pegging to the US dollar.
Does GOL promise returns?
No promise or guarantee of any returns. Its value is completely unrelated to gold price trends and does not constitute an investment product, but rather a "gold redemption voucher".
What are the main uses of GOL?
  • Offline/Online gold redemption
  • Digital gold deposit/withdrawal experience for users
  • Value settlement between stores, brands, and systems
  • Underlying voucher for membership points or equity systems
  • Used for redeeming services, products, membership levels, etc., within the PANDA ecosystem

2. Token Mechanism: Minting / Redemption / Price

How is GOL minted?
The system only mints GOL after "physical gold reserves increase" and synchronizes it on-chain. All minting records are permanently public.
Can GOL be minted arbitrarily?
No. Minting must meet two prerequisites:
1. Backend confirmation that physical gold is in stock
2. MultiSig approval for on-chain minting operations
Therefore, minting is subject to strict permission limits.
How to redeem gold with GOL?
Users transfer GOL to the official "Redemption Address", and the system automatically creates a redemption order. After offline verification → Gold distributed → Corresponding GOL burned by the redemption contract.
Why isn't the GOL price fixed?
GOL itself has no market pricing mechanism, does not participate in trading, and speculation is not encouraged. Its value is based on:
• Gold reserve quantity
• Redemption mechanism
• User redemption demand
It is a "gold voucher", not a freely tradable financial asset.
Can GOL be traded on exchanges?
In principle, listing on exchanges is not recommended or encouraged, as its purpose is not speculation but as a service voucher and redemption credential. If certain ecosystem scenarios allow free transfer, it only represents "property flow", not speculative use.

3. Security & Compliance

Why does the scanner warn of risks?
Because the contract includes a "Redemption Burn" function, used to destroy GOL held by the contract itself after a user redeems gold. This is a necessary capability for RWA and will not affect user assets or modify user balances.
Can the team change my balance to 0?
No. All balance changes must meet: User active transfer, User active burn, or Contract self-balance destruction generated by the redemption process (not involving user balance). There is no function to arbitrarily tamper with balances.
What is MultiSig? Why is it important?
MultiSig (Multi-Signature) ensures:
• Any sensitive operation must be approved by multiple administrators
• A single administrator cannot transfer, destroy, mint, or change configurations
• Avoids single-point private key risk
It is the core mechanism of asset security.
Does GOL have private key risks?
User wallets are the same as ordinary Web3 wallets: Private keys are held only by users themselves, and we cannot access them. The MultiSig part uses a multi-party key structure, also avoiding "single point of failure".
Can the system print extra GOL?
Cannot print arbitrarily. Minting must meet: Physical gold actual warehousing; MultiSig approval execution. Completely open and transparent.
Is there a possibility of backend data tampering?
Non-existent. All flow, minting, and burning of GOL are recorded on-chain, and anyone can query them.
Where does the user's GOL go after redemption?
After redemption is completed, GOL will be destroyed (burned) and will no longer enter circulation; just like a bank writing off collateral.
What if gold inventory changes?
The system will synchronously adjust on-chain reserve records to ensure consistency among "Destruction - Issuance - Reserve", avoiding over-issuance and virtual supply.
Can the official team freeze user assets?
The GOL contract has no freeze function. All transfers are decided by the user, and the system cannot intervene.

4. Usage

How do ordinary users get GOL?
Currently mainly through: Official offline stores; Authorized partners; Official ecosystem channels; PANDA membership system. Public sales or speculative uses are not open.
How long does it take to redeem gold?
Usually instant order creation, shipment/delivery on the same day or next day after offline verification. Subject to the actual process of the store or partner.
What is the minimum redemption amount?
Minimum 1 GOL (i.e., 1 gram of gold), subject to appropriate adjustments based on offline store policies.
Is there a fee for redemption?
Redemption itself has no handling fee; When users initiate on-chain transfers, a small gas fee will be charged by the BSC network (not charged by GOL).
Is my GOL safe on-chain?
Yes. GOL is based on the BSC public chain: Assets are held by users; No custody risk; Only losing the private key will cause assets to be unrecoverable (same as all on-chain assets).
What if I change my phone?
Just import your wallet mnemonic or private key on the new device to retrieve all assets.
What if I transfer GOL to the wrong address?
Blockchain transfers are irreversible. Please be sure to check the address before operating.
Can it cross-chain?
Cross-chain is currently not supported to maintain system stability and security.
What if I lose my order number?
We can find the redemption record on-chain based on your wallet address, which will not affect gold withdrawal.

5. Enterprise Cooperation

Can our brand use GOL for value settlement?
Yes. GOL can be used as points, deductions, and redemption vouchers in multiple scenarios, and can also be integrated into brand systems via API.
Is it possible to customize an enterprise-facing ledger layer?
Yes. Enterprises can integrate based on needs: Batch distribution; Channel settlement; Internal order verification; Digital gold asset management. Support provided by the official technical team.
Is it possible to view all GOL on-chain flows?
Yes, completely transparent. You can view on BscScan: Total supply; Burn amount; Inventory changes; Redemption order call records; MultiSig execution records.
How do partners verify redemption authenticity?
Each redemption corresponds to an on-chain burn record, which can be directly audited: Whether the corresponding GOL is destroyed; Whether it matches the redemption weight; Whether the time and shipment record are consistent.
What is the future development of GOL?
Key directions include: Deep binding with PANDA ecosystem; Global store value settlement system; Digital gold value-added services; Redemption experience optimization; Business partner API standardization. GOL aims to become "Gold Digital Circulation Infrastructure", not a speculative tool.
